Tulsa patient tests positive for malaria

Health officials had placed the individual in isolation at a Tulsa hospital as a precaution because the person had recently visited Sierra Leone, Guinea or Liberia. The Tulsa Health Department says it followed recently approved state guidelines on Ebola once the individual notified officials Thursday night that he or she had developed a fever.
