Daniel Frivet, aged 32, of Broaching Close, was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday for one count of blackmail and two counts of theft. Michael Hammett, prosecuting, told the court, the offence of blackmail took place after the defendant and his then partner went to the Crows Nest pub in Cwmbran to watch the rugby earlier this year.
