GOLETA >> Some of the equipment being used in response to the Santa Barbara County oil spill will be moved off U.S. 101 to allow thousands of participants in the annual AIDS/LifeCycle ride to safely pass the site near Refugio State Beach. The incident command says in a statement that nearly 2,400 cyclists are expected to ride past the area Friday morning.
