One in six breast cancer patients are still struggling with the aftermath of the disease and its treatment more than two years after their diagnosis, according to Breast Cancer Care’s Helpline. At a time when regular check-ups in the NHS commonly stop after two to three years, people affected by breast cancer are still looking for vital information and support.
