A Darlington County family is thanking two South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers for helping a young man get to a critical surgery. Multiple media outlets report that about a week ago, Bradley Howle’s family got an early morning call that a kidney transplant was available if he could make it to Medical University of South Carolina by 5:30 a.m. The 23-year-old had been on a waiting list since 2011.
