It’s Mother’s Day, and health officials are using the occasion to remind parents of University of Oregon students to make sure their kids get vaccinated against meningococcal disease. Lane County Public Health says parents will likely have increased communication with their children this weekend, and the agency wants them to capitalize on it to help the vaccine effort.
