Julianne Moore’s lovely, nuanced Oscar-winning performance would be enough of a reason to watch “Still Alice,” but the film does a rare thing by taking a clear-eyed look at Alzheimer’s disease. Moore plays Alice Howland, a 50-year-old Columbia University linguistics professor who seems to have a blessed life – a stable marriage to John , who loves her, and three lovely children in Anna , Tom and Lydia .
