Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh apparently is responding well enough to his treatment for bladder cancer that he’s able to continue performing. He has just announced two shows at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, New York in conjunction with his 76th birthday on March 15. He’ll be there with his Phil and Friends band on March 17 and 18, and joining him will be Allman Brothers and Gov’t Mule singer-guitarist Warren Haynes .
