Last August, at a stop during a rain-soaked Pan-Mass Challenge bike-a-thon, Brian Lutes of Brewster walked into a tent at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay and broke down. Lutes, 48, is one of 43 people who were part of a photography project by Wellesley photographer Michael Casey to capture cancer survivors, both riders and volunteers, during the two-day fundraiser.
