Almost 80,000 people in the UK were diagnosed before the age of 45 and are still living with one of the top four most common cancers, according to research. The data shows that almost 550 men living with prostate cancer in the UK and 2,000 people with lung cancer were diagnosed before the age of 45 – suggesting that cancer is not just an old-age disease.
