A lawsuit filed by an animal rights group aims at freeing a chimpanzee named Candy from an amusement park where she is allegedly given cigarettes to smoke and fed soft drinks instead of water, The Associated Press reports. Candy, who is caged at a Baton Rouge amusement park, should be moved to a sanctuary, according to the federal suit cited in the AP story.
