A Missouri mother whose 9-year-old son was diagnosed last year with diabetes is helping spread the word of a national effort to make Halloween less scary for children with food allergies. Sara Robertson told the Mexico Ledger that anything more than a miniature candy bar can require her son, Nate, to get an insulin shot.
